Blogger's Block?

Thinking. Typing. Deleting. Thinking again. Typing again. Deleting again. Thinking yet again...

Blogger's block has no doubt happened to everyone at some point in their ''e-life''. You know, the condition much like writer's block but only sadder and less-significant. Sometimes you can spend the whole day trying to think of something to write about, and it is even more frustrating when you are trying to think of an opening post for your blog!

Hi, I am Alan, your host-blogger on these pages, and I have blogger's block. My ideas funnel is so blocked up that the fumes of inspiration are trapped somewhere in a pipe waiting for the write moments to gain pressure and burst out.

Some bloggers go made waiting for inspiration others try to seek it in yoga, astrology and new-age cults, some unhappy souls even decide to write blogs about the long wait, and others just give up.

Maybe the pressures of our blogging-culture has made us more desperate for that really great, Nobel Prize winning, glorious blog post, and has turned us into blogging Barton Finks, or maybe something deeper lurks (Cthulhu? No, too cliched. Cybermen? Too camp...). Who knows? But really thing is that a decent, personal post will suffice and we shouldn't just claw at our over-worked brains for high art!

And, welcome to my blog! :-)
